Innohome Charlie is an electric vehicle charging station product family for electric and hybrid vehicles. It is a device for charging mode 3 which is the recommended method for everyday charging . Its type 2 charging socket is compatible with most electric and hybrid vehicles in Europe.
The stylish Scandinavian design fits nicely in all kinds of surroundings. Separately sold Innohome Charlie Hood gives extra weather protection as well as improves the simple and stylish look even further. Innohome Charlie products are designed and manufactured in Finland.

Installation
Charlie’s easy installability was one of the main features already in the design stage. It’s structure together with clear installation instructions make the installation very quick. With easy-to-use DIP switches the installer can easily configure the charging current to be optimal for the location.
Installation can be done only by the professional installer. Usually the installation takes 0,5 – 2 hours of time. Please contact your local installer and agree about the installation.
Innohome Charlie 3: This product allows load balancing for up to 3 client units. There is also an input for external potential free on/off control.
Use
Plug in and charge. As simple as that. And that’s all you need to concern yourself with. The Led indicators will let you know when the battery is fully charged.
The basic outdoor sockets are not designed for electric or hybrid vehicle charging and can be unsafe to use for that purpose. Caution! There is a potential risk for fire if the car is continuously charged with basic outdoor socket. Charging from a normal outdoor socket is also a lot slower than from a charging station.
With Innohome Charlie products the charging is safe. You can leave your vehicle to charge overnight without worries.
Innohome Charlie has 32A maximum charging current which ensures full battery after overnight charging. With a one hour charging, depending on your vehicle and your home’s electricity, you get some 120 kilometres to drive.
TIP: We listed reasons to use professional charging unit instead of charging your vehicle from a basic outdoor socket.
